Nippon Gene offers a lineup of primer sets and amplification reagents used in various tests.
In addition, basic reagents for LAMP are available from us so that researchers can evaluate their own-designed LAMP primers.
We also offer our proprietary amplification reagents for the LAMP method using fluorescent probes and fluorescent intercalators.
This DNA amplification reagent is used in combination with the LAMP primer set that is sold separately, and is best tuned for animal species discrimination or plant disease inspection.
For your detailed study, experimental data such as amplification time can be obtained by using the endpoint turbidity measurement device LT-16.
In addition, the “detection solution” included in this product can be used for visual detection without using a special device. The reaction mix with the “detection solution” has a blue-purple color upon addition, but changes to a blue color as DNA is amplified. For this reason, even if there is no UV light, negative (blue-purple) / positive (sky blue) judgment can be made visually.

The amplification reagent for LAMP primer set for plant disease test is a product for testing and research used in combination with LAMP primer set for plant disease test of Nippon Gene Plant Hospital® series.
Positive signal can be obtained by using turbidity measuring with the endpoint turbidity measurement device LT-16 from us or visual detection by the fluorescent solution included in this product. Electrophoresis is not required for detection, and the DNA amplification reaction is done in closed reaction tube. Therefore, there is no risk of contamination by amplified product from the inspection, and judgment can be made in a short time.

DNA amplification reagent set for LAMP-FLP method is a product for detection by the LAMP-FLP method. This product is made for easy detection of gene polymorphism using gene amplification by LAMP (Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification) method and FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) phenomenon.
DNA amplification reaction and detection steps are done in a closed reaction tube by using a measurement device for LAMP, such as LF-8 Plus, so there is no risk of contamination during the test and determination can be performed in a short time.
For example, it can be used for rapid detection of drug-resistant bacteria with specific genotype. (Use case: “Rapid detection of MBC drug-resistant strains of wheat fungus”)

2x LAMP Master Mix is a reagent for isothermal nucleic acid amplification by Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) method. This product contains heat-resistant strand displacement DNA polymerase, heat-resistant inorganic pyrophosphatase, Mg2+, dNTPs, optimized buffer, and double-stranded DNA-binding fluorescent dye necessary for LAMP method. The fluorescence from the dye can be detected by a fluorescence detection equipment*.
The presence or absence of non-specific amplification can be confirmed by performing an association curve analysis after the LAMP reaction.
* Isothermal amplification measuring devices such as LAMP measuring device LF-8 Plus and real-time PCR devices (LightCycler 96, ABI7500, etc.) can be used for a fluorescence detection equipment.
