DryADD™ RT-LAMP Master Mix (Turbidity/Visible Dye)

A series of DryADD™ products are the reagents which have developed under the concept of “carry out the life science reagents from the lab to the field” using the drying technology by Nippon Gene. The ability to transport and store at room temperature overcomes the necessity of refrigerants and dry ice under long-distance transportation, making life science reagents available even in areas with unreliable power supplies.

This product utilizes the results of joint research with the Laboratory of Plant Pathology, The University of Tokyo, in the title of “Development of dried reagents that enable long-term room temperature storage of plant disease gene diagnosis kits” adopted by the Toyama Prefecture FY 2016 Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Promotion Project.

Product Discription

This product is a master mix reagent for isothermal nucleic acid amplification by LAMP method. LAMP method is fast and easy DNA amplification method which is also used for the diagnosis of influenza virus and detection of norovirus, Legionella sp., Salmonella sp., and verotoxin-producing E. coli, showing excellent specificity and sensitivity.

This product contains premixed and dried reagents such as thermostable strand displacement DNA polymerase, AMV Reverse Transcriptase, Mg2+, dNTPs, and buffer necessary for the LAMP reaction, allowing cDNA synthesis and DNA amplification by simply adding primers and template RNA to RT-LAMP Master Mix (T/V).

This product adopts a visual method for judging the presence or absence of DNA amplification by checking the presence or absence of fluorescence. The DNA amplification and detection are performed in a completely closed system (in the same reaction tube), minimizing the risk of contamination, and realizing safe and rapid RNA detection.
